Basic
health care is an essential key to open the door to sustainable
development, because that good health in a nation is not just a matter
of creating economic wealth. It is also about the distribution of that
wealth in terms of food, of water and sanitation infrastructures, and of
education, as well as providing conventional health services. In other
words, it is about alleviation of poverty.
